The Reserve Bank of India conducted an awareness program for students of Post Graduate Department of Commerce on Indian Financial System, Indian economy, the history of RBI, role of RBI in controlling commercial banks, various interest rates, issue of currency notes and its distribution etc.. Mr. Vinod Kumar, Assistant General Manager, RBI and Mrs. Shantha Paul, Assistant General Manager, RBI were the resource persons for the program.
