2. National Award for e-Governance

e-Jaalakam project of Department of Economics, St. Teresa’s College Ernakulam has been awarded GOLD under category ‘Outstanding e- Governance Initiative by Academic and Research Institutions’ for the National award on e-Governance 2014-15 instituted by the Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances ( E-Gov. Division). College principal Dr. Sr Vineetha CSST and Dr. Nirmala Padmanabhan , Head ,Department of Economics received the award from honorable chief minister of Gujarat Smt.Anandiben Patel during the 18 th National Conference on e- Governance held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 30-31 st January 2015. Ejaalakam was the only project from Kerala to win a prize during the national conference.
