The Department of Economics and UBA team, St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, in association with the Department of Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka, organized an experience-sharing session on localising SDGs on 31st October at 10:30 a.m. This online session began with an introductory note by Smt. Priyanka Mary Francis IAS (Commissioner, Panchayat Raj, Karnataka), and she introduced her team.

Dr. Nirmala Padmanabhan, Dean of Extension and Incubation at St. Teresa’s College welcomed the Panchayat Raj team from Karnataka and introduced the project team responsible for localizing SDGs. The team consisted of external expert Dr JB Rajan, internal experts Dr Nirmala Padmanabhan, Dr Pearly Antony O, Ms Priya Soly (former student leader of the project), Ms Arathy Krishna (present student leader), and the current student team of this project, which included 18 members.
