The session was an eye opener for the students towards a practical approach to ERP software. The guest lecture was importantly focused on the different basic modules of an ERP, where the actual ERP screenshots had been shown to the students so that they get a clear picture on how exactly the software works. The faculty also quoted the importance of Business process reengineering which is juncture where the physical mapping of software and process occurs. The conclusion of the session was by mentioning the challenges faced during the implementation of ERP.
