An environmental field visit was conducted to Suvarnodyanam Biological Park, Aluva on 12th December 2022 for the students of III BSc Mathematics (A batch). 47 students participated in this field visit. The camp was well-organised by BFO Vinod Sir who made all the arrangements wholeheartedly. It was a one day camp starting from 10 am till 2 pm. Faculty Appachan sir, Rtd Deputy Range forest officer, did a very interactive session on the importance of saving our mother nature. He walked along with us through the forest explaining all the details of different plant species found there along with their uses. It was indeed a wonderful experience and all of us had a great time. We could enjoy the silence and greenery around the forest.
