The Faculty Enrichment and Progression Programme was successfully conducted on August 17, 2024, in online mode, jointly organized by the Department of Commerce (Self-Financing) and BMS Department of St. Teresas College Autonomous, Ernakulam.

The programme aimed to enrich and progress the teaching community in Commerce and Management faculties. Prof. Dr. Santhosh Kumar, School of Management Studies, CUSAT and President of Indian Accounting Association, Kochi Branch, and Mr. Lineesh P, Assistant Professor at Jain (Deemed to be University), Kochi, and Secretary of Indian Accounting Association, Kochi Branch, were the esteemed speakers. They delivered insightful sessions on navigating new avenues in the FYUGP programme and unlocking the benefits of Indian Accounting Association membership, respectively.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from 23 faculty members from Commerce and Management departments of SH College, Thevara, BMC College, Thrikkakara, Corporative Law College, Thodupuzha, and ST. Teresa’s College. The online session was highly engaging, with active participation and valuable insights gained by the attendees. Overall, the programme achieved its objective of enriching and progressing the teaching community, and the department looks forward to organizing more such online sessions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among faculty members.
