The “Duniya 25” program, a three-day collaborative event between St. Teresa’s College Ernakulam, the YUVA Tourism Club, and the Ministry of Tourism, was held from September 16th to 18th, 2025. The event brought together students from numerous colleges to participate in a variety of cultural and competitive events. The program aimed to foster talent and provide a platform for young people to showcase their skills, culminating in a successful and engaging experience for all participants and organizers.

The program commenced with a traditional prayer song, followed by a welcome address by Mrs. Sabeena Bhaskar, the Head of Department. The event was officially inaugurated by Ms. Anju Menon, Ms. Mishma Kamal, and actor Sudheer Sukumaran, who delivered the inaugural address. The inaugural session concluded with a vibrant cultural fashion show displayed by the students of St. Teresa’s college from the BA French and Tourism departments.

From the 16th till the 19th, many competitions took place: Fashion show, salad making, poster making, reel making, photography, treasure hunt, itinerary making, quiz.

The event ended on a high note with a vibrant and energetic band performance by Amal Varghese and Raison John, leaving the audience with a sense of joy and celebration.

The valedictory function marked the culmination of a truly successful DUNIYA 25. The event was a testament to the incredible talent and collaborative spirit thriving in Kerala. We were thrilled to welcome approximately 200 participants from 30 colleges, a truly overwhelming response that showcased the event’s widespread appeal. Students travelled not just from Kochi but also from Idukki and Thrissur, bringing their unique creativity, immense energy, and diverse talents. This widespread and enthusiastic participation made DUNIYA 25 “bigger, brighter, and unforgettable.” The collective effort of all participants and organizers was the key to its resounding success.
