On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention (16 November 2022), Departments of History and French hosted a National Programme on Heritage, on 23rd of November 2022.
The World Heritage is a “source of resilience, humanity and innovation” states UNESCO.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director of IGNCA, New Delhi, introduced by Dr. Venagopal B., Convenor, IHMFS, Kochi; and continued with discussions about Indigenous Medical Heritage of India; and Indian Traditional Knowledge/Heritage.
