OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME:

    To give the awareness about Gender equality , and every individuals  are treated equally under law . 

  To celebrate the Youth Skill Day on the theme of this year “All Skills Shine “ to spread a myself knowledge to the students .

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

We had photo contest ; online competition for whole college  .

We had a Flash Mob at the beginning of our function.

      Started with prayer Song by Kavya Nair(BVoc SWD)and Nahadiya P I (BVoc SWD),welcome speech given by Priscilla Roy(BscCA), the programme was officially inaugurated by             Ms. Dhanya R , First we had schedule the competition which is essay writing conducted for whole college , and Pencil drawing competition for the Computer Application Department , 

Songs by:- Treney Jose(BscCA) and Anagha Ann Jiji(BscCA) ,Next it was table topic competition for Computer Application Department only .Mainly we included this competition to create awareness about gender equality among the students . We conducted game session for Teachers as well as Students for making the event more fun and interactive . To the end Ms.Harsha Kalesh  class teacher of BVoc SWD give a small review of the events and how it went and how she experienced till the end , and the program was ended by a vote of thanks by Sharissa Marian Hurtis(BVoc SWD).

 

OUTCOME OF THE ACTIVITY:

  World Youth Skills Day 2022 took place amid concerted efforts towards socio-economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic that are interconnected with challenges such as climate change, conflict, persisting poverty, rising inequality, rapid technological change, demographic transition and others .Young women and girls, young persons with disabilities, youth from poorer households, rural communities, indigenous peoples, and minority groups, as well as those who suffer the consequences of violent conflict and political instability, continue to be excluded due to a combination of factors. In addition, the crisis has accelerated several transitions the world of work was already undergoing, which add layers of uncertainty regarding the skills and competencies that will be in demand after the pandemic is overcome, mainly focuses on affordable quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), acquisition of technical and vocational skills of employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship; the elimination of gender disparity, and ensuring access for the vulnerable
