Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Research: An   Integrated Approach

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME: To develop and strengthen the entrepreneurial quality, to motivate them for achievement and to enable participants to be independent, capable, promising businessmen. The objective is to make the trainees prepared to start their own enterprise after the completion of the training program.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: The seminar started with a prayer, Jenny Francis (2nd year B.voc SoftwareDevelopment) welcomed the gathering, Jayasudhiksha (2nd year B.voc Software Development) gave a brief idea about the resource person and speaker Mary Andrews (Asst. Professor Department of ComputerApplications). Then the session done by Ms. Mary Andrews. Lastly, Aneeta Varghese concluded the programwith the Vote of Thanks. Overall programme was conducted by Jenny Francis – Student Coordinator & Ms.Harsha K.M- Faculty Coordinator.

OUTCOME OF THE ACTIVITY: Entrepreneurship and Innovation minors will be able to sell themselves and their  ideas. Students master oral and visual presentation skills and establish a foundation of confidence in the skills necessary to cause others to act.
