A class on Genetic Engineering was taken for the III DC Zoology students on 19th February 2015 by Dr. Swapna. P. Antony, DST-Inspire faculty, CUSAT. Classes were taken on topics like Gene cloning, Blotting Techniques, PCR, DNA fingerprinting, Gel electrophoresis and Hybridization. The class was very informative, where students got to know about various techniques and tools used in genetic engineering. The students were also taken to the Cochin University for hands on training session.
