The Department of Communicative English organized a one day master class on the topic ‘Basics of Cinematography and Film Making’ led by Cinematographer, Mr Sanju M Suresh. The morning session started with a discussion on the fundamentals of cinematography. Mr. Sanju shared his experience in the film industry and covered the procedures that must be followed when filming documentaries and short films. The practical class in the evening was held in the media lab. Taught about the fundamental camera angles and movements, the significance of lighting, how lighting functions in a scene, and how light may alter and improve appearance.
