The Department of Management Studies instituted its Online Workshop on Case Writing, by Mr. Jaidev Poomath, Associate Professor at Kochi Business School on 8th August 2020. The two-hour session was initiated with the primary objective to develop aptitude and prowess for case writing among the teaching fraternity with a hands-on approach to case development. The discourse evoked the participants to recognize and structure case situations while creating and capturing the central case rhetoric. Mr. Jaidev is an MBA graduate from Bharathiar University, with 20 years of combined Academic and Industry experience. Having authored and published several Case Studies with IIM Bangalore, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, IIM Raipur, and ICFAI, participants of the workshop were immensely appreciative of his practical guidance on effective case writing. The interactive session concluded with many new and clarified case topics and ignited a new vigor in participants for this research methodology.
