A two day  cake making workshop was organized by the department of food processing technology in association with the institution’s innovation council (IIC) and Teresina IEDC, on the 6th and 7th of December 2021. The guest of the event, Mr. Joshy P.V was a hospitality trainer and a former chef who worked with the carnival cruise line, USA.

The various cakes that were taught to the students were plum cakes, banana Choco chip cake, chocolate sponge cake and Swiss rolls. Basbousa (an Arabic sweet), pineapple upside down, strawberry mousse Swiss roll cake, carrot cake and chocolate buns. This session was productive to all our students who were enthralled to be a part of such an interesting programme.
