Department of Economics, St Teresa’s College, in collaboration with Globelics; Global Network of Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence-building Systems, the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), Kerala Economic Association (KEA), and Department of Economics, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, hosted the Globelics-KSHEC-KEA International Lectures. The event, organised by the Department of Economics and the Centre for Research, held at the seminar hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., brought together experts, scholars, and enthusiasts to delve into the dynamic realms of the economics of learning, innovation, and competence-building systems.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr Anupa Jacob, Head of the Department of Economics at St Teresa’s College. Her opening remarks set the tone for an intellectually stimulating and enriching experience for all participants and attendees. Following the welcome speech, Dr Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph, the Principal of St Teresa’s College, delivered the Presidential Address. Her insightful words emphasised the importance of fostering a global perspective in understanding the dynamics of learning, innovation, and competence-building systems.
