On October 28th 2021, Community college has organized an awareness session to the Parents, Teaching and Non-Teaching staffs of St.Teresa’s College on “early screening of Breast Cancer” by Associating with Aster Medicity, Ernakulam for Commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The session begun with evoking almighty by the DHA student Ms. Swanthana S; followed by the Welcome speech and Introduction to the topic by the Department HOD, Smt. Vincy Vincent. The session was led by the Nursing Officers of Aster Medicity, Ms. Betty Panakkal Joseph. The speaker introduced various signs of breast cancer and demonstrated the breast self-examination methods clearly with the help of videos. About 75 participants were there in the session. The session was summarized with thanks speech.
