On 4th,5th, and 7th February, Department of History went to Little Flower L.P School,Cheranaloor as a part of TROP activity . A group of our students make charts and study materials to teach the lower class students.they were successful to present the topics effectively.

The Department of History organised Alumni meet,Tertulia(reunion) on February 9th 2019 in the department itself.More than 30 alumni members from different batches attended.The session began with a formal welcoming by HOD of the department Smt. Vinitha T Tharakan.A host of activities and games were conducted for the entertainment of the guests along with refreshments.

Department of History conducted a quiz competition relates to the topic India's Freedom movement, as a part of Independence day celebration on 13 August 2018.Anna Ancy Augustine and Durga Lal of III DC History,Devi Ponguzhali and Thrishna from I DC History won the first and second prize in the competition.

The Department of History conducted a trip ( 24-2-18) to Pre historic megalithic burial site situated in Chiramangad,Thrissur district .69 megalithic monument spread over a small area with different types of Kudakkallu,Toppikkallu,Stone circles etc.On the same day we visited the Saktan Tampuran museum to enrich our historical vision
As a part of exploring the local history of our area, MA History students visit the Jew Synagogue at Ernakulam. Which provide an insight on the architecture and culture of Jews .
