The Department if French held its association inauguration on the 03.07.2025. On this occasion, our special guest was Major Dr. Seleena KV, assistant professor at the Department of Malayalam, St. Teresa’s College.

Major Dr. Seleena KV, a great figure of our College, has always promoted the study of languages and set an example of hard work among the students as well as the teachers. Since she is going to retire at the end of this academic year, the teaching staff and the students of the French department together wanted to honor her, her work and dedication. She delivered a motivational speech to the students, reminding them that success can only come through work.

Our dear HoD, Mrs. Sabeena Bhaskar, and Major Dr. Seleena KV lighted the candle, thus marking the official inauguration of our department’s association.

This event was followed with a lot of fun to celebrate the Freshers Day. UG I and PG I were officially welcomed by UG II, UG III and PG II into our department through fashion show, dances and songs. A mask competition was also organized. This event allowed all batches and teaching staff to bound and start the academic year with high spirits.

We particularly thank the UG II students who organized the event with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm !
