The Department of English and Centre for Research organised a lecture by Mr. Michael John Atkins, from the University of Sheffield, on 7th December 2018. Taking us through his experience as an art therapist working in London, Mr. Atkins enlightened the audience on the innovative solutions art provides in curing various mental disorders and anxieties that plague modern lives. He also emphasised on the positive impact of art therapy on children who had undergone emotional and physical abuse.
