As part of observing UNEP Sustainable Development Goals -No Poverty and Zero Hunger , the department of Commerce self financing conducted Annapoorna- A Pothichor collective drive among the students and staffs of St. Teresa’s Autonomous Ernakulam on 14.07.2023. Collection boxes were kept in front of all the three blocks of the college campus. Active participation of both students and teachers from various departments were there by lending pothichoru packets wrapped in banana leaves. Since the collected food was packed in an eco-friendly manner, the distribution was quite easy. This Centenary initiative of the department was a great benefit for the poor, elderly people residing at the Marine drive zone of Cochin City.
