As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, we conducted the first section of alumni lecture series on 12th august 2022 at 10:30am.The lecture was provided by Ms. Arya Nandakumar , alumni of STC 2017-2020 , currently pursuing masters in data science. Her accumulated knowledge and experience in the field of data science were conveyed through his lecture. Being a data science student Arya shared about her experiences and her knowledge in the field of data science. She also talked about projects and steps to be taken.  She made us aware of some workshops and other opportunities. Further she addressed the skills to be mastered and did also suggest few sources to boost them. Students then clarified doubts.
