On the 7th of October, 2022, the DMS TROP (Teresian Rural Outreach Program) members of St.Teresa’s College Ernakulam visited St. Joseph’s UP School in Mulavukkad Panchayat in an attempt to educate the students of sixth and seventh classes the importance and application of Indian Sign Language, as part of the International Day of Sign Language.     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The one-hour session was successfully headed by DMS TROP member Arya Antony, PGDM BA 2022 – 2023 student, and at the end of the session, the students were able to understand the significance of learning sign language as well as accomplished to replicate basic alphabets and sentences.

The DMS TROP members for this initiative were Arya, Vishwa, Alka, Sruthy, and Leya. The TROP team coordinator, Ms. Praseetha M S, our faculty inspired students to move forward with such initiatives and for imbibing in a sense of teamwork.
