The French Department was happy to welcome back two alumni, Rucheena and Susan, to conduct a session on the possibility of becoming English assistant in schools in France.

After their studies in French, Rusheena and Susan decided to apply for the position of English Assistant for the French government. They were sent to France to teach English to French children and teenagers at school.

They shared their experience with our 3rd year BA, their life in France as well as their work as “assistantes”. They really enjoyed their time there and while Rusheena secured a position as English lecturer in a French university, Susan is currently teaching French in Qatar.

They both answered all the enthusiastic questions of their Juniors with great joy.
