To celebrate National Reading Day, the French department organised a reading competition on 20.06.24, open to all the students of French language of St. Teresa’s College.

10 participants registered. They were to read a French poem, “Mon amie la rose” by Françoise Hardy, being carefull with pronunciation, punctuation and fluidity. Surya Ma’am and Caroline Ma’am composed the jury.

This competition is a good reminder of the importance of reading daily and also of practicing reading when learning a foreign language.

The result of this competition will be announced on the occasion of the French National Day, in July. Stay tunned!
