As part of World Ocean Day on 8 June, the School of Marine Sciences, Cochin University of Science and Technology, in association with the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, and the Ocean Society of India, has organized a Beach cleaning activity at Puthuvype beach. Shri. K. N. Unnikrishnan, MLA of Vypin inaugurated the function. In our department, 32 students (2nd DC and 3rd DC zoology), accompanied by 2 teachers have participated actively in the activity.
