The Department of Psychology held a workshop on “Unconscious Mistakes That May Sabotage Your Career” on 8th Oct 2021. The workshop was conducted by Dr Ajith Thomas, Dean & Head of St Joseph’s Business School, Pala Kottayam. The workshop was attended by around 200 participants from both St. Teresa’s College and St, Joseph’s Business School.
The workshop based on the inspiring book by internationally recognized executive coach Lois P. Frankel covered the distinctive set of behaviors that women learn in girlhood that ultimately sabotage them as adults and how to eliminate these unconscious mistakes that could be holding women back and derailing their career. Some mistakes covered by the resource person included avoiding office politics, multitasking, failing to negotiate, inappropriate use of social media and so on.
