A Webinar was conducted on November 4th at 5:00pm by the BCA (cloud technology and Information Security Management), Department of Computer applications on “Hackers and Engineers”. The speaker of the session was Ms. Mahima Mary Mathews (PhD student, IIT Kottayam & Asst. Prof CUSAT). The webinar that was compered Ms. Shannon Simon (2nd year BCA) commenced with a prayer song by Ms. Sona Pappachan (2nd year BCA) followed by the welcome address by Ms. Jesteena Joseph (3rd year BCA). The overall strength of the session was around 90. For the students, it was an insightful experience with Ms. Mahima, knowing more about the role of hackers and engineers in the present world. Her own career experience was shared and it broadened their mindset on this particular area. Her words encouraged the participants and it was a delightful session. Many queries were raised during the session she was kind enough to answer them all. Ms. Leah Avin (2nd year BCA) delivered the vote of thanks.
