The Department of Psychology of St. Teresa’s College, organized a webinar on ‘Bringing Environmental Psychology into Action’ on 18th October 2021 at 10.30 am. The resource person for the session was Ms. Mishal Alice Mathews. Around 180 participants, attended the webinar which was conducted online through Google meet.
Ms. Mishal Alice Mathews, is currently working as Research Assistant for PROWELLMIGRANTS project at Institute of Environment and Human Security, United Nations University, Germany. She is the co-founder of Mirai and The Green Hope Foundation, an initiative to address waste disposal issues.
The webinar was organized in an attempt to make the participants aware of the scope and the growing importance of environmental psychology in today’s world.
Ms. Mishal briefed on the opportunities and scope of the field, and discussed about the importance of environmental psychology. She discussed few studies related to the field and explained briefly about sustainable development goals.
