On 20th April 2022 Ms Anne Lee Seshadri Consul for Public Affairs at the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai, India, and Ms Chitra Jaishankar, Alumni & Youth Exchanges Coordinator,
Public Diplomacy Section, U.S. Consulate General Chennai, visited St Teresa’s College (autonomous) and interacted with the leadership team on a wide range of initiatives including opportunities for student and faculty exchange, research collaboration, and avenues for higher education in the US. The session also included an impressive presentation by a student representative on the community projects undertaken by the Bhoomitra Sena Club (BMC) of the college in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The international wing of the college also arranged a campus tour, including a visit to the college library and Community Radio station for the visiting delegation.
