The Department of French hosted an international webinar on ‘Students’ mobility in France and Job employability in Tourism with French in India’, on 22 January 2020 at 10:30 A.M. The students mobility webinar was an exciting and interactive moment which was open, not just for the students of the Department of French, but also for French learners from various other Departments of the college. We welcomed not just one, but three expert personalities for the same, namely, Eric Perrotel, from Institut Français, India, Pusha Kothi from ‘Atout France ‘ (an agency for the development of Tourism in France)and Sabari Kishor from ‘Campus France’, India.

Heartfelt thanks to our experts for conducting such an applause worthy webinar! Ms. Pusha Kothi provided the students with ample information about ‘Atout France’  and the various job opportunities associated with it. Mr. Sabari Kishor enlightened the students about ‘Campus France’, a public institution in charge of promoting French higher education abroad and welcoming foreign students and researchers to France.  Mr. Erric Perrotel explained accurately, the various exchanges and partnerships between France and India for culture and education. Mr. Perrotel also explained how the students can benefit from the same.

The different scholarships available, different degrees from French Universities and Grandes Ecoles, application procedure to various courses, career prospects- all questions of the students were answered precisely by the experts.

The session proved itself to be enlightening for every student who aspires to go to France for higher studies or to build a career in France. The students found the session truly inspiring, informative and interactive.
