STC-UG (Honours) Programme (FYUGP)

St. Teresa’s College is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) for the academic year 2024-25. Designed to provide students with a comprehensive and enriching educational experience, the FYUGP opens doors to a world of opportunities for personal and professional development.

At the heart of the FYUG programme lie three distinct pathways, each designed to cater to varying academic aspirations:

3-Year UG Degree: Students who choose to exit after 3 years shall be awarded a UG Degree in their respective discipline upon successful completion of the required minimum courses.

4-Year UG Degree (Honours): A 4-year UG Degree (Honours) in the discipline shall be awarded to those who complete the FYUGP with a specific number of courses, including a graduate project/dissertation in their major discipline.

4-Year UG Degree (Honours with Research): Students who aspire to pursue research as a career may opt for the 4-year UG Degree Honours with Research stream under FYUGP, which includes a specific number of courses, including 12 credits from a research project in their major discipline. Students who acquire a minimum of 75% in their graduation (up to the 6th semester) are eligible for the Honours with Research Programme (This condition is subject to review in accordance with University Regulations).

Apart from the flexibility in choosing the pathways, the FYUGP offers a set of specialized courses aiming at the holistic development of the students. Through these courses, students will have the chance to delve deep into specific areas of interest, acquiring valuable expertise and practical skills that will set them apart in today’s competitive landscape.

  • Major Component

At the core of our Four-Year Undergraduate Programme lies the Major Component, where students delve into their chosen field of study with depth and focus. By selecting a major, students begin a journey of in-depth exploration and specialization within a particular subject or discipline.
