The department of chemistry, organized student enrichment program for PG chemistry students. Eminent scientists and Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Prize winners Prof. J. N. Moorthy, Director  and Prof. K. George Thomas, Dean of Faculty Affairs of IISER Thiruvananthapuram delivered the lectures motivating students to research in chemistry. They also discussed the opportunities in IISERs.  200 students from colleges in Ernakulam  participated in the program.
