On 7^th June 2021 a webinar was conducted for the post graduate students of the department on the topic ‘MATHEMATICAL MODELLING’ as part of the PROF. N. DHARMABAL LECTURE SERIES 2021.The programme started at 3:30 p.m.  Sri Krishnadas, research scholar at ST. Joseph college Irinjalakuda was the resource person for the webinar. The primary objective of the webinar was to make the students understand about mathematical modelling so that they can use the principle in their project work. A brief explanation of mathematical modelling by a nonlinear system of differential equations was shown. A total of 40 participants including the faculty attended the session. The webinar was conducted under the efficient leadership of Smt.Dhanalakshmi O.M, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics. The student coordinators for the programme were Agnes and Uthara of 1^st MSc Mathematics. Through the session, the participants were able to get an idea of how to perform mathematical modelling.
