The Department of French at St. Teresa’s College successfully hosted a National Seminar on “Tourism Horizons: Navigating Sustainability, Innovation, and Professional Branding” on February 10, 2025. The event brought together esteemed speakers, faculty members, and students from St. Teresa’s College and St. Paul’s College.
Dr. Sandhya H, Assistant Professor at Christ University’s School of Business and Management, delivered the first session. Dr. Sandhya emphasized the importance of sustainable practices in tourism management, highlighting innovative strategies for reducing environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly tourism.
Ms. Asha John, Assistant Professor at Bharata Mata College’s Department of Commerce (Travel and Tourism), led the second session. Ms. Asha shared valuable insights on professional branding for tourism professionals, focusing on effective marketing strategies and personal branding techniques.
