The Department of Mathematics and Statistics recently launched the innovative “Kadalasukadhakal” project, officially inaugurated by our principal. This creative initiative focuses on transforming surplus departmental waste papers into practical items like chalk boxes, plant pots, scrapbooks, portraits, and more. A dedicated team of students, under the guidance of faculty members Dhanalakshmi OM and Vismaya Vincent, collaborated to craft a diverse array of items using shredded papers. At the inaugural event, the principal distributed the initial products of this innovation, providing chalk boxes to class prefects, while receiving a scrapbook and portrait as heartfelt tokens of appreciation. Additionally, more items created from shredded papers will be available for sale in the coming days.
