A problem-solving session was conducted by the Maths department for the students of the department as preparation for the upcoming JAM exam. The sessions were conducted from 05th January 2022 till 14th January 2022 and were attended by students of both 2nd DC and 3rd DC Mathematics. The speaker Nemi Poulin began each session with an interesting math fact, followed by the problem-solving session. In each session, students were familiarized with the short-cut methods for approaching a problem and different concepts. The sessions were very interactive and informative. Different types of questions, including previous year’s questions, were also solved during the sessions. The strength of the students each day was:

The objective of the programme is to familiarize students with the different patterns of questions asked in the JAM exams and to prepare students for the upcoming JAM by working out previous year’s questions.
The students were familiarized with different topics and methods for solving a particular problem. They were also given an idea of the question paper pattern and the type of questions that can be expected for the exam.
