On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, the Department of Psychology organized celebrations for the students. The theme for the celebration was Hard Earned Freedom. Different competitions and events were conducted for the students. Poster-making competitions and Photography competitions were conducted on the theme: Misuse of hard-earned freedom. A quiz competition about freedom fighters and the freedom fight was also organized for students. Ms. Arathy V.S. and Ms. Hameeda of 1st M.Sc. Psychology bagged the first prize in the Quiz Competition. Poster exhibitions were also arranged in the department showcasing the lives of the freedom fighters. More than 100 students of the Department joined in celebrating the Independence Day of the nation.
The program helped educate students about the history of Indian Independence and the Freedom struggle.
