The department of Mathematics and Statistics celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi with a series of competitions held both online and offline. It was
held from 29th of September to 5th of October 2022. ‘Charkha making’ competition with eco-friendly materials was held for the students of the department of mathematics and statistics. It was held offline in room no:75 in the department and 5 teams participated in the same. UG 2-A and UG 2-B won the first and second prize respectively for the competition. Two inter department online events followed soon after – ‘Letter to Gandhi’ and ‘Fancy Dress’. Anagha G Naik of 3rd DC Maths secured the first prize for Letter to Gandhi , followed by Meera S of 1st DC Maths B in second place. Nehla KM of 2nd DC Maths B was declared the winner of the Fancy Dress Competition.
