BCA (CT & ISM), the department of Computer Applications started off their journey with the new batch of 2021-24 with a 5-day induction Programme. All the faculties and the first-year students actively participated in the Programme. The Day 1 of the induction began with the introduction to the department (Bridging to the course) by Mrs. Mekha Jose. Day 2 was an ice-breaking session for the first years to mingle with their seniors and to attain more friendly atmosphere among them led by their Class-in-charge Mrs. Roopa Raphael.

Day 3 was indeed a day dedicated for Introduction to the Specialization “Cloud Computing- Introduction, its types and future scope” handled by Mrs. Mekha Jose, Mrs. Archana Menon P and Mrs. Veena Antony; the faculties of BCA(CT & ISM). Day 4 gave the students an insight to their second specialization “Information Security” by Mrs. Neha Raju K and Mrs. Roopa Raphael. The final day of the induction Programme was loaded with vast information from the field of Security, its past, present and future by Ms. Mahima Mary Mathews, Asst. Professor from CUSAT who is also a Phd Scholar from IIIT Kottayam. Ms. Rishika KK, faculty of BCA(CT & ISM) also addressed the gathering with the final session “ Career Opportunities in Cyber Forensics”.
