Kaleidoscope 2025 – the Graduation show of Fashion Designing students was conducted on.The students have explored innovative designs and curated stunning collections inspired by diverse themes. Kaleidoscope – 2025 marks a significant milestone in the academic journey of the 2022-2025 batch of students. It is a colourful reflection of their creative talents and a vivid portrayal of artistic excellence. This graduation showcase highlights the culmination of three years of rigorous training, where students refine their technical skills, artistic vision, and design sensibilities. Each collection embodies originality, precision, and storytelling, with students creating, constructing, and accessorising theme-based ensembles consisting of 5–6 garments.

Outcome of the activity: This show is a dream come true of 16 young budding designers of the Department. All the designs were highly appreciated by the audience and Media.

The department organized Ananya, an inclusive fashion show dedicated to differently abled children from the National Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (NIPMR). The event featured adaptive clothing specially designed to meet the functional and comfort needs of the children, while ensuring style and confidence on the ramp. Five students from the Department of Fashion Designing actively participated in designing and stitching garments for differently abled children as part of the programme.

The programme was conducted by the Department of Fashion Designing. The initiative aimed to promote inclusive fashion and raise awareness about adaptive apparel for children with special needs. Ananya was a meaningful platform that celebrated diversity, creativity, and empowerment, leaving a lasting impact on participants and attendees alike.

Outcome of the activity: Ananya promoted inclusive fashion and awareness of adaptive clothing for children from the National Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (NIPMR). The event boosted children’s confidence and encouraged empathy and socially responsible design among students.

Activity Description: The “Swadeshi 2025” fashion show was organized by Kerala Khadi & Village Industries in association with St. Teresa’s College on August 19, 2025, at the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. The event featured a fashion show showcasing Khadi products, including digital printed sarees and advocate’s coats. Minister P. Rajeev made a surprise appearance on the ramp, highlighting the growing appeal of Khadi products among the younger generation. The event included various segments, such as the launch of Karumalloor Khadi Sarees and Advocate’s Coat, with Minister P. Rajeev handing over the products to Dr. Anu Joseph, Principal of St. Teresa’s College, and State Attorney N. Manoj Kumar. The function was presided over by P. Jayarajan, Vice Chairman of the Kerala Khadi Board.

Activities during the event included:

– Fashion Show: Models walked the ramp showcasing Khadi digital printed sarees.

– Product Launch: Launch of Karumalloor Khadi Sarees and Advocate’s Coat.

– Khadi Icon Pageant competition for faculty

– Prize Distribution: Winners of the Reel Competition, Photo Contest, and Khadi Icon Pageant were awarded prizes.

Outcome of the activity: The event provided a platform for students, teachers and non-teaching staff to learn about traditional craftsmanship, textile art, and the significance of indigenous industries. The event helped preserve Kerala’s cultural heritage and promoted self-reliance among local communities
