An exposure visit to Mathlab Cochin Institute, Edappally was conducted on 3rd August 2023. This field visit was exclusively for Premier Student League members 23-24.The Teachers and  students started our journey on a traveler at 12.30 pm and then reached by 1 pm .The Mathlab Research room was available for the visit. Mr. Anoop ,the project director of Mathlab Cochin welcomed with a foundation of Mathematics. He introduced his colleagues in the institution. Mathlab Cochin is an institution which clan seeks the unknown horizons of Mathematics. There are several orientation programs and training programs such as PhD entrance exams, certificate courses, IIT -JAM,JRF etc. in Mathlab Cochin. The students were able to come across the importance of mathematics in the upcoming generation. Artificial Intelligence, the field which combines computer science and robust datasets, to enable problem solving .The upcoming future will be the AI careers. They explained about why Mathematics is vital to thrive in the AI career. 

They introduced several certification programs for the study of Mathematics in AI. They demonstrated some AI models such as voice bot and word cloud. Ann Zeba shared her experience of her journey of Mathematics in one of the best institution IIT-Palakkad. Then some doubt clearing session was there. The overall session was very needful and informative for the new technical world.

Outcome of the activity :

• The students were able to come across the importance of Mathematics in AI Career .
• They were able to know about the college life of an IIT Student.
