Objective: To explore and know more about the scope of Data Science in present world.

This webinar was conducted for the students and faculties of Department of Mathematics and Statistics. It was conducted on 22^nd  December 2020 from 3pm to 4pm on Google meet platform. The chief guest and speaker of the webinar was alumna of our department, Ms Teena Mary. She is pursuing PG in Data Science from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Bangalore. About 75 participants including the students and faculty of the department participated in the webinar. The webinar started with the welcome address of Elizabeth Sony. Ms Teena Mary spoke about how one can get involved into Data Science from the world of pure mathematics background. She also gave the students clear knowledge about its importance and vast world of opportunities. The webinar ended with a vote of thanks by Meera.

Outcome of the activity:

Students came to know more about Data Science and the different job opportunities in that field.
