Hands- On – Training in Making of Digital Thermometer, Solar Lantern and LED bulbs

The Department of Chemistry in collaboration with the Teaching Learning Centre and SC/ST Monitoring Cell of St. Teresa’s College is organising a training programme for SC/ST students. The training is jointly given by Centre of Materials for Electronics Technology (CIMET, Thrissur), State Directorate of SC/ST Development and IHRD Ernakulam Regional Centre with financial aid of Central Government.
SC students will be trained in Digital Thermometer Making and ST students will be trained in LED bulb and Solar Lantern making. The aim of the programme is to convert students to entrepreneurs. The participants will also get a certificate on successful completion of the training.
The training will be conducted in St. Teresa’s college. There will be 3 online sessions of 2 hour each and a 3 day hands on lab session.
