Christmas celebration 2021 was an event designed to bring the feelings of joy, warmth and nostalgia in the hearts of the students and faculty. On 21st December 2021, the Celesta ’21 was conducted in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, with a remarkably decorated stage and the students dressed up in reds and whites.

Ms Niranjana Dileep, Association Secretary welcomed the gathering. Dr Ursala Paul, HOD shared the Christmas message with the audience. The Christmas carol was sung by the 3rd year students.

There were several games in which students and teachers participated alike. The first was the Packing Relay in which a team of four from each class came forward to accept the challenge and each person at a time was given 30 seconds to wrap the gift and then the next person took over the game. The best wrapped gifts were selected by the audience. Next was the Cupcake decoration competition in which a team of two from each class participated and they were given 2 minutes to complete the task of decorating the cupcakes with the given items.

Second year students mesmerized the crowd with their dance. After the dance, the last game, Cup stacking, which played by a single person.

The Christmas celebration was a long awaited live event after the pandemic lockdown and the students and teachers enjoyed the occasion to the maximum.
