The department of Chemistry organised an awareness seminar for the students on the Environment day. The theme was “Our Land, Our Future”. The theme is a part of the initiative of UNEP.Geethika Biju, Jeleena P, Elbiya Theresa and Krishnananda of III DC presented the talk on the theme. They introduced the students to the Practical Guide of UNEP.  The importance of sustainable agriculture, restoring freshwater ecosystems, marine and coastal areas and bringing nature back to the cities were the highlights of the talk. 80 students including teachers participated in the seminar.
