In order to generate awareness regarding the transgenders among the students in the campus, a fashion show of the transgenders was organized in association with ‘Dwaya’ - a transgender organization.
A short film on “Women and Tribes” was screened in the auditorium for 130 students. It portrayed problems related to women and Dalits.
A poster exhibition was conducted to look back into the evolution of female actors in Bollywood Film Industry. Pictures of Devika Rani to Deepika Padukone was exhibited.
A book review on the world famous book “Saud- Jeevanode Kathiyerinjaval” was done among the students of the department to discuss about the women in Palestine
