As part of UBA activity, Physics department of St.Teresa’s College organized a captivating LED star-making workshop at GVHSS Njarakkal on 25/01/2024,. The purpose of this workshop was to engage students in a creative and educational activity, fostering both teamwork and innovation while spreading awareness of energy conservation. A PowerPoint presentation was done for the students to get awareness on energy conservation and different ways in which students can participate. After the presentation, we formed five groups of students, each with six members, including two volunteers from the college. We provided a brief yet informative introduction to LED technology, explaining its applications and significance. Students actively participated in crafting LED stars using provided materials, and overwhelmingly positive responses were received from them. Many expressed a newfound interest in technology and electronics.
