The day discussed the topic “Green Protocol”. Mrs. Veena Antony (Asst. Professor, Dept.
Of cybersecurity and applied computing) talked about the importance of keeping our
environments safe and sound through Green protocols . Green Protocol at St. Teresa’s
college (autonomous) Ernakulam is implemented with an intention to promote
sustainable development which makes each of the students committed towards
environment and future generation. Veena ma’am reminded us to keep our campus and
everything we brought into the campus eco-friendly. As a part of this students are
requested to follow the 3 R’s of waste management-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. She also
explained how to keep our surroundings clean and hygienic which will promote others
into shielding our health also the nature’s health. She inspired us to plant trees and
saplings to keep nature alive.
