Department of BCA in association with Interncan recently hosted an exhilarating two-day Hackathon Hackverse’24 Workshop & Hackathon at St.Teresas College on 19th and 20th January, bringing together a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts and problem solvers. Hackverse’24 marked a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering innovation and providing a platform for students to showcase their technical potential. The event brought together a diverse group of students, faculty, and industry professionals in a collaborative and competitive atmosphere.

The Hackverse’24 event commenced with a warm welcome to all attendees at the arts auditorium. Ms. Veena Antony (Nodal Officer-InternCan STC) delivered the welcome speech, expressing gratitude to all participants and providing context for the event.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests and dignitaries, including Rev. Sr. Dr.Vinitha CSST (Provisional Superior and Manager, STC), Mr. Manoj Sreenivasan (Regional Sales Manager, Dell Technologies), Mr. Divakar Prabhu (C.E.O, International Marketing Company), Mr. Shoji Joseph (Regional Sales Manager, IMC Technologies), Dr. Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph (Principal, STC), Dr. Sajimol Augustine M (Senior Administrator, STC), Dr. Kala M.S (Vice Principal, STC).

Winners of the Hackathon :

Team Cipherverse (Anupama Rajendran & Aleeta Mary) won the 1st prize (Rs.3000), Team Hacktivators (Hannah Anne Lukose & Mareena George) won the 2nd prize (Rs. 2000), and Team Abyss Dwellers (Shinu Mary John & Aswitha Sajeev) won the 3rd prize (Rs. 1000).

Certificates were given to both winners and all participants of Hackverse’24.
