The Department of BCA(CT & ISM) in association with Interncan hosted an enlightening AWS Workshop on January 25th, 2024. The workshop aimed to explore the fundamentals of cloud computing with a special focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Mr. Muhammad Mubashir T, a seasoned AWS Cloud Engineer at TechbyHeart, led the session, promising a comprehensive insight into the world of AWS.
The workshop, spanning from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, comprised a blend of theoretical discussions and hands-on practical exercises. The welcome addressing was given by Ms.Ashwitha Sajeev of BCA 3rd year. Mr. Muhammad Mubashir T commenced by elucidating the fundamentals of cloud computing, followed by an exploration of networking basics within AWS. Participants were guided through the process of creating an AWS root account and introduced to key AWS cloud concepts. The session also delved into various cloud services offered by AWS, providing insights into website hosting in the AWS Cloud. About 40 students from the department of BCA, BSc Computer Applications and PG Diploma in Cyber Security attended the same. The session ended by a participants review sharing moment followed by a vote of thanks presented by Ms.Ashwitha Sajeev.
